The AOMF offers a number of practical hands-on training courses for all microscopes as well as theory and image analysis courses. If you are not sure which microscope is ideal for you, please browse the equipment page for a description of instruments currently available. Better still, we encourage you to visit the facility where we will be more than happy to show you around and discuss your specific project needs.

It is mandatory that all users be trained on an instrument by a member of the AOMF staff before they can use it on their own and they are not permitted to train other users. Once a user has been trained on a particular microscope and demonstrates a sufficient working knowledge, only then will they be given access to the online booking calendar.
