How to get started at the AOMF

Two-Photon Training

Approximate Time: 2 hours
Pre-requisite:Confocal Training I

This hands-on training session will introduce the user to the basic operations of our two-photon microscope and provide a foundation for advanced techniques. Topics covered in this course include:

1. Axiovert 200 vs Axiovert 100
2. Operation of two-photon laser
3. Setting wavelength
4. Configurations of normal and META detectors
5. DAPI / FITC / Rhodamine configuration for multitracking
6. Viewing the lambda-scan data (lambda-coded, Mean Intensity, etc)
7. Cleanup and shutdown
